Installation hints for WTW 500 Tank Panel system.

Installation of WTW 500 series water storage tank panels, is a relatively simple process. If you know : what the tanks are intended for and how you want the finished project to look like.

You need to have a good foundation to take the weight of the full tank panel. A means to secure the panel in place - usually to the support structures - where the wall is being situated.

A means to pipe storm water to tank panel - between tanks if needed - and pipe overflow to storm water system. With plumbing to a tap ( faucet ) flow point - if needed.

Water quality in tank stored water is the responsibility of the owners. And as such needs to be addressed in the form of maintenance.

When installing the water tank panel. Easy access for maintenance: Includes removal and installation of panels if damaged, removable couplings to tank and stormwater quality improvement devices ( SQIDS ) for routine maintenance.

With all this in mind. The right tools and supplies for the job. And a plan to work to. DIY istallation only needs the experienced hands and know how of the Do It Yourself person.
